Violence is genderless
About Us
- We are a group of FATHERS, victims of domestic violence and abuse, committed against us and our children.
- We are MEN and CHILDREN victims of obsolete laws, dishonest lawyers and discriminatory judges.
- We are MEN, CHILDREN and WOMEN who loath violence and reject gender-oriented “slogans” that perpetuate disgusting stereotypes that imply that women are “usually” the victims and men are “usually” the aggressors.
Our Mission
To stop discrimination and hate-speech against men, and the perpetuation of the “violent male” stereotype which are ubiquitous in women-centric Western countries. This is not valid in many Asia and Middle-East countries where women are still treated as inferior beings.
To raise world-wide awareness to the flawed “justice” system that is in place in several “developed” countries, with partial judges and dishonest lawyers causing immense suffering to men, women and children that they should protect. Some of them just don’t care and are not held accountable. We hope some serious media attention may change the situation.
To share our heart-breaking stories with other fathers and mothers that are going through the same, and give advice.
To help the victims identified in the site, by raising donations.
Some hard statistics
- The workforce composition in Portugal's CPCJ (Comissões de Proteção de Crianças e Jovens) is heavily dominated by women, who make up approximately 81% to 84% of the staff (Sousa, 2024)
- Most studies support the existence of sentencing differences based on gender, with most indicating women receive better treatment than men (Doerner & Demuth, 2014; Holland & Prohaska, 2021; Koons-Witt et al., 2012; Spivak et al., 2014; Tillyer et al., 2015).
